
Grammy Awards 2024 telah rampung digelar pada 4 Februari 2024 di Cryto.com Arena, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat. Banyak nama tak terduga yang mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi tersebut.
Seperti salah satunya Miley Cyrus. Ia berhasil memenangkan piala pertamanya setelah berkarier sebagai musisi sekitar dua dekade. Piala Grammy pertama Miley didapat berkat lagu Flowers yang memenangkan kategori Best Pop Solo Performance. Tak hanya itu, di malam yang sama, Miley Cyrus juga memenangkan piala kedua Grammynya lewat kategori.
Taylor Swift Raih Album of the Year
Sementara itu, Taylor Swift juga mencatatkan sejarah. Ia kembali memenangkan piala Grammy ke-13 dalam ajang tersebut. Album Midnights membuatnya mendapatkan trofi ke-13, angka favoritnya, atas kemenangan Best Pop Vocal Album.
Ia juga turut memenangkan Album of the Year berkat Midnights. Taylor Swift menjadi musisi perempuan satu-satunya yang memenangkan Album of the Year untuk ketiga kalinya, dan bersaing dengan Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, dan Paul Simon dengan tiga kemenangan.
Sehingga, Taylor Swift kini menjadi satu-satunya musisi dengan empat kali kemenangan kategori tersebut dan terbanyak dalam sejarah ajang tersebut. Menariknya lagi, pada ajang itu, Taylor Swift juga mengumumkan akan merilis album baru pada April mendatang. SZA, boygenius, Killer Mike, Victoria Monet, dan soundtrack Barbie masing-masing memenangkan tiga penghargaan. Sementara Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, dan Taylor Swift memboyong pulang masing-masing dua trofi.
